Ascon has prepared a Restart Work Plan to complete remaining remedy work under the oversight of the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) and the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD). This work is expected to begin in October 2024 and take about two years to complete.
On Thursday, October 10, please join DTSC for an in-person community open house at the Edison Community Center from 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. followed by a hybrid presentation and Q&A from 6 – 8 p.m. Register in advance to join the Zoom hybrid presentation here: https://tinyurl.com/Ascon-Community-Meeting.
DTSC published the following Community Update on EnviroStor and mailed copies to a one-mile radius around the Ascon Site.
