The Huntington Beach Fire Department was onsite today with multiple fire engines as part of a scheduled orientation of the Ascon Landfill Site, the upcoming Pit F excavation work, and an overall discussion of emergency response. First responder orientations have been a long standing practice of the Ascon project prior to remedial work onsite. Our thanks to the HBFD team for participating and for a good discussion!

These practices apply to air quality professionals and other team members who may be outside the fence conducting work.
