Work will be conducted at the Ascon Landfill Site this Saturday, August 19, between the hours of 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The work is in support of upcoming Engineered Misting Containment (EMC) activities and is needed in advance of forecasted rains. No excavation activities are planned for Saturday work.
Workers will be arriving prior to 7 a.m. for the daily safety briefing. You may hear worker vehicles or periodic back up alarms required for worker safety. During this work, the Ascon team will continue to monitor air quality at the Site perimeter and at off-Site stations for dust and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
