Successful Completion of North Berm Repair

Background

An emergency action to stabilize the North Berm on the Ascon Site was successfully completed the week of May 18, 2020. Under a managed excavation, directed by the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), soils were removed to flatten the berm and reduce the risk of the berm failing and having soils slide onto Hamilton Avenue past the barrier fence.
